We love children and we work hard to empower them to love God. Our mission statement is to partner with families at Redeemer in laying a spiritual foundation for children to live a life surrendered to Jesus Christ. Our vibrant children’s ministry is led by a passionate and dedicated team of staff and volunteers who love children and work hard to impart the word of truth into our children’s lives; to help build their relationship with Jesus Christ in a way that is fun, intentional and adaptable for them to receive. Psalm 8:2 tells us, “From the lips of children and infants He ordains praise,” so we also focus on teaching our children the importance of praising God with all of their being. Childcare & Kidz Church
Currently, we offer childcare for ages 2-4 during the 9:15-10:15 AM Sunday School hour and at the 10:30 AM worship service in Room 106. At this time, we are not offering infant to one-year-old childcare.
The first Sunday of each month is our Family Worship Service where children worship in the sanctuary with their families. Kids worship bags filled with fun activities will be available to pick up as you enter. Ages 2-4 do have the option to use childcare on these Sundays.
On the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month, children in Kindergarten through 5th grade have an opportunity to attend Kidz Church during the 10:30 a.m. service. Check in children at the Redeemer Kidz booth as you enter the lobby. Children will be dismissed in the sanctuary after worship music with our Kidz Ministry staff who will accompany the children to the Kidz Church room. An announcement will be made for dismissal in the sanctuary.
During Kidz Church, children in K-5th will be engaged with fun worship and focused Bible teachings. As you enter the sanctuary for the service, please check in your children at the Kidz Church table so they can be dismissed to Kidz Church after announcements. All our volunteers must pass a background check and have training in child safety.
We welcome children of all ages to join their family for worship in the sanctuary any time. We have fun worship bags each week filled with activities for preschool and elementary age children that you can pick up on your way in to the sanctuary and drop off as you leave. We also have a family room that has audio and viewing of the service for parents of small children who need to step out of the sanctuary for nursing or to let their little ones have freedom to move around. Just ask a Redeemer usher for directions.
Redeemer Online Church for Kidz
If you’re not quite ready to join us for in person Kidz Church, Redeemer Online Church for Kidz (aka R•O•C•K) offers a fun, interactive worship service just for kids with music, teaching, and biblical truth along with downloadable games and activities the whole family can do together.
