Our Lord was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. In His testing, He identifies with our weaknesses and understands our struggles. We are comforted that with the power and leadership of His Spirit, the Lord always has a way of escape for those who trust in Him.
It’s so easy to get crossways with another person—especially in these highly polarized days we’re living in. If we’re not careful, we can soon find bitterness, resentment, unforgiveness, slander, etc. taking up residence in our hearts. The Holy Spirit transforms us through bringing us to a healthier place of genuine kindness and compassion for others—especially those we are different from.
